Caroline Bodimead is a professional violinist based in the Midlands, with a wide-ranging career across orchestral performance, theatre, recording sessions and live concerts in both public and private settings.

Originally from Essex, Caroline studied violin at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Mark Robinson, Gabrielle Lester and Erich Gruenberg. Since then, she has settled in the Midlands and built a busy and varied career performing and recording with ensembles throughout the UK.

Her orchestral and ensemble work includes performances with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, English Symphony Orchestra, Royal Shakespeare Company, Orchestra da Camera, Heart of England Philharmonic and Enigma Strings.

Caroline has also performed live on stage with a remarkable range of contemporary artists, including Madness, The Who, Gloria Estefan, Dionne Warwick, Roy Wood, George Benson, Cliff Richard, The Proclaimers, The Cult, Richard Hawley, Starsailor, Imelda May, Il Divo, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Sheridan Smith, Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson.

This breadth of experience, combined with a genuine love of many diverse musical styles, informs Caroline’s solo performances. From classical favourites and film/TV themes to pop, rock and dance songs and musical theatre, her repertoire offers something for every audience and occasion.
